The Institute of Valuers and Appraisers Singapore (IVAS) is the professional body for business valuation in Singapore, established in 2013 under the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). IVAS aims to foster professional excellence in business valuation and develop Singapore as a Centre of Excellence in this field. IVAS provides professional development, certification, and industry leadership. It offers the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) Programme, which is Asia’s first professional business valuation certification. This program helps grow the pool of qualified professionals, allowing candidates to earn the Associate Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (ACVA) designation and pursue the full CVA designation. IVAS also hosts conferences and engages in guideline development to enhance industry knowledge and standards. The organization serves business valuation professionals, accountants, auditors, financial advisors, and academic institutions, collaborating with entities like Nanyang Technological University.
