It is headquartered in Halifax and operates with a dedicated team of 51–200 employees. The agency offers a range of services designed to foster business growth. This includes venture capital and startup support through the Nova Scotia First Fund, which invests in high-potential deep-tech startups. Invest Nova Scotia also assists companies in expanding into new markets, attracting international investment, and provides access to incubation facilities and expert mentorship. Additionally, it delivers tailored business consulting and resources to entrepreneurs and established firms, aiming to strengthen Nova Scotia's economy and connect local businesses with global opportunities.
